THE ART OF SMOKING

To fully enjoy your candle and maintain its aesthetic appearance, you should burn it properly. We recommend following the safety instructions.

Before firing up

Place the candle away from drafts. Trim the wicks regularly. To avoid black smoke and soot on the edges of the container, wicks should not exceed 0.5 cm in length. Keep the wax free from matches or other debris. This can create a fire hazard and stain the wax.

During combustion

Wait until the entire surface has melted before extinguishing the candle to avoid tunneling. The first time will take longer than the next. NEVER allow the last inch of wax to burn away, as the flames can touch the glass and overheat the vessel.

A candle that overheats can catch fire! NEVER let a candle burn for more than an hour when the surface is completely liquid.

A flame that burns too close to the glass can cause it to shatter!

After burning

Before the wax hardens, reposition the wicks so that the flames do not burn into the glass the next time you light it. Regularly clean the inside of the candle with a non-alcoholic product to prevent soot build-up. Heavy soot deposits on the edges of the vessel can cause excessive smoking. Store the candle in a dry place at room temperature.
